The Spring Musical is an OPEN CALL audition to ALL students at Lake Norman High School!

Choreographer: Charlotte Duncan
Audition Requirements:
  • Headshot (optional)
  • Resume (optional)
  • One comedic 60 second monologue
  • One 60 second song from a contemporary musical (with karaoke/track)
  • Learn a short dance routine at the DANCE call 
*Hint! Make sure you introduce yourself and your pieces before you begin your audition!

How to Sign Up:
1. Sign Up for ONE Song and Monologue Audition Day 
2. Fill out the audition form 
3. Everyone MUST be at the DANCE call. Make sure you wear something you can move in, and wear closed-toed shoes or dance shoes!
4. You will be notified via email if you are called back. If called back, be familiar with the music of the show!
​5. After callbacks, the cast list will be posted in the school, emailed out, and published on the website.

Fill out the "Audition Form" above, and check the technical position(s) you are interested in.
*Technical Theatre Interviews/Position Postings will happen AFTER the cast list goes up.

Blumey Awards

 Students in the Spring Musical are eligible to participate in the Blumey Awards.
The 2023 Blumey Awards will take place on May 21 at the Belk Theatre in Charlotte.
